The Modular Environment Administrator (MEA) is specifically aimed at monitoring the computer room environment, providing network capability to environment sensing and protection equipment which has no network interface.    tHE MEA extends the SNMP management system by integrating non-SNMP devices onto the network as SNMP compliant agents.  It gives network capability to a wide range of network environment sensing and support equipment such as UPS, HVAC, fans, motion sensors, which can all be remotely monitored.  The MEA can also remotely control output relays based on local alarm conditions.

Features, depending on unit, up to:
  • 32 inputs for contact closure alarms

  • 32 relay outputs (logic controlled rated at 12V 250 mA, example use - door bolt control)

  • 16 analogue inputs for temperature / humidity

  • Network control via SNMP and Web

  • 2 RS-232 ports for modem and configuration

  • Dial out on alarms

  • Java remote viewing & configuration software
