NETWORK INFRASTRUCTURE MONITORING AND CONTROL

Sinetica intelligent power strips (sometimes known as PDUs) are available in a wide variety of formats allowing customers to specify number of outlets, type of outlets (IEC, Schuko, UK etc.) maximum power through-put , individual socket fusing, individual neons, even colour of sockets.

The intelligent power strip can be specified for power monitoring only, or to combine power monitoring with individual outlet control. Power strips with power monitoring provide readings for RMS Amps, RMS Volts and Total Power KW/hr.  Each reading has upper and lower thresholds and upper and lower control thresholds.  The crossing of a threshold can be used to generate an SNMP alarm.

Power strips with individual outlet control can be pre-programmed to sequence outlets up and down in a controlled pattern preventing high in-rush currents.
